Lisa Pearson

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW (she, her)

In working with me, you’ll quickly discover that I’m a therapist—and a human being.

Clinically, I bring years of experience supporting people through some of life’s most complicated and high-stakes moments, including hands-on work in probation and criminal justice. That work gave me a deep understanding of how stress, trauma, responsibility, and survival can shape a person’s life.

Outside the office, I’m married, raising two kids, and usually in the middle of an ambitious DIY project with too many paint samples and a growing suspicion I underestimated it. I’m also a lifelong thrifter, a fan of fresh air, and a former competitive athlete, so resilience, showing up, and doing hard things are still part of how I move through life. As an elder millennial, I still have a soft spot for the music that shaped my era {team Backstreet Boys with a side of T-Pain, obviously). I also understand what it’s like to have a brain that feels creative, chaotic, brilliant, and exhausting all at once.

That humanness matters to me because therapy shouldn’t feel like sitting across from a textbook. My style is warm, conversational, and genuine. I’ll sit with you in the hard moments, ask thoughtful questions, notice patterns, challenge you with kindness, and probably laugh with you when life gets weird—because it does. For clients who want it, I’m also comfortable making space for Christian faith or broader spiritual conversations in a respectful, grounded way.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, questions about alcohol or other substances, trauma, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, my goal isn’t to fix you. I don’t believe you’re broken. My job is to help you understand yourself more clearly, build tools that fit your life, and move toward the version of yourself that feels most authentic—not perfect.

I believe meaningful change happens when clinical expertise meets genuine human connection. That’s the kind of therapist I strive to be every day

Licensed Professional Counseor, LPC (she, her)

Let's get real- you didn't stumble upon this page by accident. You're here for a reason, reading this for a reason. Life can be hard, exhausting, and complicated. Life can also be wonderful, freeing, and kind. I'm here for it all. While some of us start therapy because of an event or life happenings, others may start therapy to just have that extra set of ears- I'm here for it all.

I have a wide range of experience working with adults, teens, and children navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, sexual abuse, relationship struggles, substance abuse/use, OCD, ADHD, and legal issues. I also enjoy working with couples and families to mend relationships and work towards a better life together. I've worked in many settings with people who are struggling and not feeling or believing they are whole. We will work together, as a team, to get you to where you want to be. I use a person-centered approach with sprinkles of CBT therapy and solution-focused therapy.

I think it's important for a therapist and client to have a transparent, collaborative, and real relationship. I'm not here to judge you and I'm not here to tell you what to do. Will I push you? Absolutely. I will push you to be the best version of yourself. The version that YOU envision for yourself. I will meet you with kindness, passion, and pure genuine authenticity. We're not here to make you perfect because let's be honest, perfection doesn't truly exist. We're here to make you feel whole. I'm the therapist that is in this with you.

Outside of session, I'm engaged, a first time mom to a rambunctious baby boy, dog mom of two, and usually biting off more than I can chew with whatever I've put my mind to. I come from a blended family and can intimately understand a chaotic family dynamic. I was a competitor in my younger years and bring that sense of persistence and ambition to sessions. Aside from being a therapist and mom, I also work in law enforcement, helping individuals recover and work towards living a balanced life.

I strive to be the type of therapist that you can sit across from and feel like you're talking to a human, not a robot reading off diagnoses and symptoms. I'm here for the big tears, the silent realizations, and the hard laughs that are our everyday. I believe that change can be one of the most difficult things we experience, encompassing both the good and the bad. Growth is a result of change and change is hard. We can do hard things. I want to help you feel like you aren't just surviving life, but you're living it, because you deserve it.

Morgan Hamblen

Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC (she, her)

Therapy is often a choice made when the other choices run out.  As a therapist, I come with a background that is diverse, but when boiled down, shows that I like a challenge. I have worked in residential settings, community based mental health, and now correctional facilities in my day to day. The common theme is that mental health at its most challenging is my jam.

When I am not delving deep into the minds of many, I am just a girl that loves granny hobbies at heart. There is not an aisle of Michaels or Joann’s (RIP) that I have not meandered. The collection of art supplies, the most storage containers you have ever seen full of paint and random hot glue guns, and the bookshelves full of books from every genre would shock and impress you. If I am not single handedly keeping the local craft store open with my patronage, I am wandering aimlessly around every bookstore and thrift/antique shop in a 6-hour radius, and I have the pamphlets to prove it. This obvious chaotic repertoire of hobbies though should not scare you; I am committed to doing the work alongside of you, no matter how eccentric it might be.

My approach to therapy is simple, show up as the most authentic version of yourself, and I will do the same.  I want you to feel safe to say and feel whatever, no matter how scary or overwhelming it sounds. And if you don’t know what to say or feel, I can work with that too. If you can bring yourself to walk through the door and give it a chance, I will meet you with a room with low lighting (no big lights), some comfy chairs, and all of the fidgets or art projects/crafts that you can focus on while you talk so there does not have to be any awkward eye contact. I want you to walk out feeling empowered, set with tools to help when you don’t, and feel in control of your life.

I work with anyone from children to adults alike, giving you support to verbalize the anxious or sad feelings, navigate neurodiversity, or talk to someone about your day, because sometimes we just need to get it out. And if you are having a hard time communicating with a partner or family member, couples and families are welcome too. My goal is for you to feel you can talk, feel heard and understood without judgement, and maybe in the meantime work on that abandoned project you put down months ago and wanted to pick back up (we love to keep it creative in this office). Everyone deserves a safe space and a chance to collaboratively grow toward finding a version of themselves they love.

My belief is this, if you are willing to show up for yourself, I am willing to show up for you, because everyone needs a little bit of a village.
